All of the procedures below use a heat producing current which coagulates the blood supply. The skin can become pink and feel warm after the treatment, but with no active blood supply to the area, the problem clears with the minimum of fuss. Skin Tags are small fleshy moles that can hang loose away from the skins surface. They usually appear on the neck, under bra straps or underarm areas, particularly where there is friction. They are removed by using advanced electrolysis with our advanced Apilus machine, we treat the skin tag with a fine sterile probe whilst carefully avoiding 'good' skin. No incisions or stitches are necessary as we are only using electrocautery to destroy the skin tag.
The skin can become pink and feel warm after the treatment, The skin tag will change in colour and drop off in a few days or may require a further treatment a few weeks later. but with no active blood supply to the area, the problem clears with the minimum of fuss, the area will heal completely within a few days up to a few weeks dependant on the clients healing rate. Typically only 1 treatment is required.

Milia Removal
Milia or milk spots are small white hard lumps that are harmless but persistent and can sometimes stay for weeks, months or longer.
These tiny white keratin-filled cysts can occur in all skin types and ages and are often found around the eyes and cheeks.
Fortunately milia are easy to remove with electrolysis where a tiny probe which generates heat and dries up the keratin within the milia so that the body can absorb it and leave you with a smoother cleaner appearance. They usually only require one treatment.

Campbell de Morgan Spots/ Blood Spots
Cherry Angiomas or Red Moles are common skin growths that can develop on most areas of your body. They're usually found on people aged 30 and older. The exact cause of these is unknown however genetics and pregnancy can be linked.
This type of skin growth is typically not a cause for concern unless it bleeds often or changes in size, shape or colour you should take to your GP if you notice any changes.
The treatment for these is so quick and effective often only needing 1-2 treatments. Light energy is applied to the skin where it is readily absorbed by the blood spot, heating them to a point where they are destroyed. Following treatment, the blood quickly clears as it is reabsorbed by the body, leaving little or no trace of the original lesion.
